Where Postcards Are Real
Despite the rains, we were still able to
The Peak Experience
We had an amazing 360-degree view of Hong Kong island and Kowloon from the Sky Terrace 428 on top of the Peak Tower. Nothing like sipping your favorite frappuccino on a sunny spring day with this as your backdrop. ;)

Not For The Faint Of Heart
Spending more than 6 hours crossing the Lumiang-Sumaging cave systems in Sagada is not for the faint of heart. Luckily, we had an expert guide who literally transformed into a human ladder and a human elevator to help us get through the most difficult parts of this spelunking adventure. We were so proud of this achievement we wanted to include it in our resumes!

Macanese-Style Street Dining
I only have one regret in my recent trip to China. It's not being able to try the traditional Macanese sidestreet dining. It didn't help that we just finished a buffet-style dinner at the Macau Tower when we went for a walk around San Malo. Next time I'll make sure to stay away from the expensive diners. ;)

Far From The Madding Crowd
That's the view from a cliff in Aninuan village in Oriental Mindoro. We passed by this long stretch of beautiful white beach on our way to a private resort where I spent my birthday weekend with friends. We opted to stay away from the madding crowd since we wanted to just relax and have a peaceful, quiet vacation -- a far cry from our usually crammed getaways. :)

Sucker For Sunsets
I confess: I'm a sucker for sunsets. I have lots of sunset shots but I'd have to say that this one here is my personal favorite. We were doing a Mt. Batulao night trek and I took this just about 5 minutes into the trail. What an inspiring sight to kick-off a hike!

Scripted Romance
At a glance, the "couple" on the picture seems to be enjoying a very romantic sunset. There's no doubt they were really having an amazing time but the thing is, they're actually not a couple. They're my friends, Tan and Arra, who hesitantly obliged to my request to hold hands as I take their photograph. I couldn't be happier with the result. This was taken in front of San Juan Surf Resort in San Juan, La Union.
Don't Die Curious
For my maiden post, I am sharing with you a photo which I took while flying on a hot air balloon in Clarkfield, Pampanga. It was my first time and I flew for almost two hours. The lady pilot from Sweden, who spoke very good English, gave me a very nice piece of advice while we were on flight. She told me to "always volunteer to do crazy things. Otherwise, you will die curious. And you don't like that."
